Mihaela Rotund

Mihaela Rotund graduated from the Faculty of Law at Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca and completed her Master’s studies in English at the same faculty, specializing in International and Comparative Business Law.

Throughout her academic journey, she demonstrated a strong passion for Civil Law. In 2022, she participated in a Nationl Law Faculties competition, representing the Faculty of Law of Babeș-Bolyai University in the Civil Law category. She also took part in locally organized moot court competitions, which focused on legal issues closely related to the study of private law.

Her areas of expertise include Civil Law, Corporate Law, Insolvency Law, and Enforcement Proceedings. What defines our colleague is her constant ambition to seek out and assimilate new information relevant to her areas of legal practice, as well as her ability to find innovative solutions to the legal challenges she encounters.

Our colleague is involved in both legal consultancy projects and litigation, ensuring client representation in court.

Notable activities include:

• Active involvement in legal consultancy projects in the field of civil law. Among these, a recent project stands out: providing a legal opinion on a real estate contract involving an investment exceeding one million euros, where the parties sought to establish the applicable law as the law of New York.;
• Involvement in research and documentation activities within complex projects related to enforcement proceedings, specifically the recovery of assets subject to enforcement measures valued at over 180,000 lei.;
• Drafting litigation positions in disputes concerning Civil Law, Administrative Offenses, and Corporate Law;
• Providing legal representation and consultancy to companies before the National Trade Register Office.
